Ive got humax free-sat and have had no problems with it until today


at the first the picture went a bit funny and it said low or no signal it came back on then after a few times of doing this the signal went completely and now i have no signal


any advice before i call someone out

Without the right kit, you won't know if it's the box, the dish or the LNB (Low Noise Block) or even the cable. Very bad weather can also affect signal levels

If you want to try yourself the first thing I would check is the cable. If you can access your dish, can you get another bit of cable and connect it up to the dish and box.

Have you had high winds recently? They can move a dish slightly


Focus do a satellite meter for around a tenner which when connected to the box and the LNB will give a signal and a beep if aligned properly (I used one to put up my dish when I moved)


Just before you do anything, make sure the downlink cable is secure in the back of the box
