Thanks Tom I'm so happy you've said that! But I'm interested to hear what you've spotted so soon! Please can you PM me? I'll draft a letter together over the weekend and if you don't mind, please would you proof read it for me before it's sent?

Is it worth editing my photos to remove any private details? (bearing in mind I'm not the borrower, so nothings directly relating to me)

Thanks again for your help!!

I thought I'd revive this thread as I've still not come to a full conclusion between myeslf and LBL about this issue.I've still got the bike, and they've stopped the pestering calls and visits to the registered address.I did contemplate stripping and selling the bike for parts and calling LBL to come and collect the "bike" (bare frame cut into pieces), but it seems too much of a shame to do this to a nice bike.Following the advice recieved from cctv engineer (Tom), it seemed I would have a case against them and could clear the HPI mark from my bike. I tried to tempt them into taking me to court over it (so it would be them paying the costs up front), but they didn't seem to bite. With the latest news about the ruling and appeal, where would I stand with my situation? To recap, I didn't take out the loan, but I bought the bike from the person who did. They want the bike back, but it seems to have been "misplaced" and was not at the registered address each time they came to collect it :)Will it be easier to have their interest in the bike removed now without resorting to silly courtroom games

Somebody with a bit more knowledge than I might be able to answer this, but would re-registering the bike, [as same year, etc], cause it to be fairly untraceable?
