Hi Trooper.

another gov document that i have seen is to not ban bos. as they have been used for many years for ships/plains/ and buildings the printing industery uses bos for there machines. so they can never be band. but its the way that they are used is what sould be changed. what should be set out is the limit a bos can be attached to. and if they set the sum to £500.000. then it moves the bill of sale out of the way of the public sector. this is how we should all be fighting a bill of sale not ban it but have it set for commercial use only.

Hi CCTV

Agreed that you can never band the BoS, however they would like them to be stopped being used for consumer credit, The original use for the BoS was for farming and shipping, an very old system not really keeping with todays consumer laws...

As you read through the document it appears that they would like them to be stopped for Log Book Loans, as the loans are really targeting the consumers with low wages and small incomes..

I suspect that the weight of public pressure and proven cases that have been actioned it's only a matter of time before they get dropped from being used to get loans..
