Hello

Are the Defendants allowed time over 3 months to investigate? What happens if they do not reply within the three months I assume court proceedings would be issued, is it easier to admit liabiity than deny to avoid court

Thanks

Alex

I think more information is needed. Who is doing the investigations and why eg Insurance companies / solicitors / the company or person subject of your complaint. Have proceedings been started? Have you a solicitor dealing with your claim. Is it a small claim and you dealing yourself, if so what stage has it reached?

Have a look at the Personal Injury Pre-Action Protocol, which you can find using Google.

If I've been helpful, please add to my rep. :)
