Sorry, forgot to ask if I could also claim back the late payment fees on the account, they were £15.00 a time?

Also, would I be entitled to add the 8% interest up to todays date, or until the money is refunded back to me?

Sorry for all the questions, this is all new to me, I've just been told - "don't forget to claim the interest on the amount settled too".

How do I work that out? Such a lot to remember.

I don't think I had a rebate either, I have all the papers, cca etc, no mention of any rebate, just late payment fees and £7,841.91 which is what I paid to settle the debt.

  • 1 month later...

Would anyone be able to assist me with this please, am very confused trying to work out the ppi myself.

The rebate which I should have had for early settlement according to HFC is £817.89, as I was never paid a rebate.

Please could somebody work this out, I am desperate now.

Sorry, got a bit confused, I found my thread where DJ kindly worked this out for me.

My computer crashed and I had to reformat it, but lost lots of my info and couldn't find the spreadsheet that I needed.

But have it now, phew, panic over
