Ok, so as you may or may not know (and you should if you are going to try and get HRM for an autistic child!), there is an element of "arrested brain development" which the DM at the DWP have been told MUST take into consideration before saying yay or nay. However, I have seem many a case where the DWp will pay lip service to it and say "although the child has autism and therefore arrested brain development..." and proceed to completely ignore the implications.

The new research which has come from King's College hospital could prove to be invaluable in supporting our claims, and so I am posting the news article about it, I'd suggest everyone should keep a hard copy of this article! I know I will. :-)
