I am off to London tomorrow & the ticket has been paid for by the company I am having an interview with. The ticket has been sent as an e-ticket with me as lead passenger, but I have now found out on the website that you have to show the card that it was paid with before getting on the train or the full price will have to paid before travelling.

I for one can't afford to pay the full fare & I don't hold a debit/credit card.

What options do I have or has anyone else experienced the same problem & how have they overcome it.

Unfortunately, the conditions of use of many of these tickets do demand that you show the card that it was purchased with and if you cannot, you may be reported or the full single fare demanded in accordance with the conditions of issue.

I've only just spotted this o it's a bit late now, but I hope you didn't have a problem
