Hi :)

We have just moved out of a property that we lived in for over 3 years. The check-out was 2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing one way or the other regarding the deposit from the agency. From reading around, I was under the impression that the deposit OR a letter concerning deductions from the deposit should be sent within 10 working days? I'm not trying to be picky or impatient....I'm slowly gathering all the information and ammo I might need because my ex landlord has developed quite a reputation for refusing to return deposits. The guidelines seem really strict about time frames and I'm hoping that it will work in my favour if they drag their feet to even send me a letter. I've just called and they couldn't tell me anything, except that the person who handled my checkout is off ill and they guess my ex landlord hasn't given his permission to release the deposit?

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Wifey
