Make your voice up - quick survey on EHR in NHS

Our health research unit is currently doing research on a new model of public health system. The focus for this time is on electronic health record (EHR) which facilitates fast and cost-effective health care delivery. This research gives customer perspectives on the customer side and try to shed lights on the possible changes of consumer behaviour after EHR implementation.

 

Possibly we propose several interesting findings on behalf of the future NHS strategy and to achieve this aim, we'd be willing to hear from as many people as possible on this newest issue in the public health field. I have had a look at this on an other site and it asks you to

Think that your health information record is available in an electronic form, therefore can potentially be shared among physicians across a country and please answer the following questions

 

Not one of the questions will allow me to give the answer that I do not want my medical details on a electronic data base, not one of these questions asks me if I have opted out and why,

 

So far from making my voice heard this research is disregarding my opinions and 1000s like me.

 

Any data from this research will be one- sided and flawed I urge the mods not to allow the link

I'm with you Madamfluff. I do not believe that having my medical records on computer available to all and sundry nation wide (yes, I know all about the 'restrictions' but I also know IT and people) will provide me with any benefit.
