i have not moved or anything and they have not contacted me or my references once about the issue after collecting the laptop i dont no where i stand i really dont want to pay out 500 pound for missing 28 pound any help would be great thanks

Firstly stop talking to these clowns on the phone, everything in writing.

What kind of account did you have with Brighthouse, I feel that repossessing the laptop after only missing 2 payments is a bit naughty.

How much did you pay before they repo'd it.

Have you still got any of the original paperwork

I have no legal training, any knowledge I have has come from this forum, and my own experiences. Always balance up any advice you get with your own common sense.

Personally, and IMO I would stump up the £28 to Brighthouse and ignore the charges, they have the laptop back, which they have probably sold on, and they are trying to make a profit out of unfair charges, would dearly love to see any company take a litigant to court over unpaid penalty charges...

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
