I'm thinking of TUPE, hb. but of course if it the company that has been sold, the OP's claim remains against the company under its new owners. If, however, what has been sold is not the company but its business, then we need to look at TUPE. Hopefully the OP will be able to answer my question, so we can give properly focussed advice. -

You could try other firms. The Law Society website has a Find a Solicitor search facility so you can find local specialist lawyers who do motoring offences. HB -
would have been through payplan not PP themselves, they are just a debt charity, they typically forwarded you on to one of their favourite monthly Fee taking scammers that provided it. your banks DD should have their name.

I rang solicitors they won't talk to me I have to pay £180 and make an appointment. I've only got 10 days left. I mentioned about the inconsiderate driving charge thing and they said inconsiderate driving and careless driving are the same thing.
