I was going to ask on a new thread, but found this one, Why do we have Edit buttons 'nicked' on some threads? makes me feel like I might have done something wrong, blinkin frustrating when you spot a mistake and want to quickly change it, or is Bankfodder keeping these posts on file so he can use them against us later :D

Some of us do not need edit buttons because we do not make miscakes:p

I take it with all the frivolity about this button, there is a wide spread application of the 'no editing' button which leads me to the question my son began his verbal life with " WHY? "

That's the moon up there " Why?" :D gerrout of that one! :p

That is not the way it used to be, we could go back anytime and change things if we found them either factually wrong or just a typo, now we can't do that.

We have to waste Mod's time asking which given their stretched facilities and time, seems a bit of a waste, but then I'm sure there's an ulterior motive otherwise why remove it?
