I wonder if someone on here can help me..after losing my 18 month HP laptop in a house burglery..I aproached my home contents ins . put in a claim & was supplied with an acer aspire laptop. I was told it had same spec as one that had been stolen.. but when i attempted to turn on bluetooth.(which I had on previous laptop) I found out the bluetooth module is missing..so no bluetooth.. as I have had the laptop for 8 months now..but only just found out that it is not bluetooth enabled. is it to late for me to approach my insurers & put in a complaint..I feel they have not given me like for like..

You could try. I think you have left it a bit late.

The Insurers might pay for the laptop to receive an upgrade.

We could do with some help from you.

if they refuse dont buy a new one from a supermarket they are about £10 for a mini dongle

if you look around you can find them on the internet for less than £1.50 including delivery takes a couple weeks to arrive as its going half way around the world mind you

The OP has been offered a new laptop.

They posted a new post under the Aviva sub folder for some reason.
