JUST A QUICK QUESTION.

CAN A COMPANY CHARGE INTEREST AFTER AN ACCOUNT HAS DEFAULTED?

I MEAN I HAVE A MONUMENT ACCOUNT AND THE CREDIT LIMIT WAS 400. IT DEFAULTED IN NOVEMBER 2004 ON 899. WHICH I ASSUME ARE AMASED CHARGES. BUT NOW CABOT FINANCIAL ARE SAYING I OWE £1348.

i SENT THEM AN EMAIL AND THEY STATED THEY DO NOT ADD INTEREST ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN PASSED MY ACCOUNT. SO I EMAILED THEM BACK AND SAID WHY ARE YOU ASKING FOR £1348 WHEN IT DEFAULTED ON 899.. THEY THEN CONTRIDICTED THEMSELVES AND SAID THEY CAN ADD INTEREST.

WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG?

THANKS
