I am taking my former employer to a tribunal for unfair dismissal. They have appointed Peninsula to represent them. Does anyone know what sort of money this service will be costing them? I remember they paid a monthly subscription to them for business support/advice but wondered if legal representation for an ET would cost them extra?

Hi Claire

Heres their website, It's difficult to gauge, but it's probably quite a bit,

you employer might of taken out insurance with them incase they lose tribunal cases. I'm sure they will use all sorts of means to discourage you.

Rebel11, I think you left the link off. x

Claire, I just looked at the website too. They seem to operate an indemnity policy to cover legal representation and possible costs of awards, but it doesn't say how much it costs.

If you search this forum, several people have mentioned Peninsula over the last few months.
