Hi All

Quick update. I recieved a letter 5 days before my loan was due to be repaid from a company called gothia they said my loan was over due and i needed to repay imediatly or face court action / balifis or repay at least £25 per month over 40 months. The total i am no being forced to pay is now in the total of £1000 for a £300 loan. They wont let me pay it off any earlier as they say the minimum is 40 months. Its funny how they cancelled my direct debit a few days before i got the letter. GGGRRR wot to do

They CANNOT add the charges they claim, as said, if this went to court you can clearly prove that you tried to get an arrangement in place and they did everything they could to gain more money from you.

I would now try and get your local MP involved or the Economic Crime Unit or whatever it is called in your area (might even be Money Lending Unit), they can get this investigated and suggest how to deal with the extortionate £700 extra they are trying to claim.

Hi All

I was googling payday loan companies and i came across these people ...removed... i completed there application without properly understanding and aggreeing to their terms, i recieved a txt saying to proceed txt yes to blah blah number, so i did i got a txt back saying my money will be put in account in 1-2 days. I didnt even realise what i was doing. Now i have untill 13-08-10 to pay back £513 for a loan of £300. They have my work email, mobile phone number, address & bank details. I can not pay this back and ia m worried what is going to happen to me. I have emailed them and they have not responded. Can they send in balifis ? make me bankrupt i really dont know and i dont want to get in trouble with my bank.

F.Y.I. I received a very shoddy looking invoice from MCO Capital LTD without ever having asked for a loan. I have no details of how where or when the loan was requested or where it was paid to, if it ever was, that is. The phone number given produced no response. Appeared to be a [problem] to get money from the phone lines. I opened a Fraud Complaint with the Police, and alerted my Bank. I suggest you do the same.

It seems everyone is getting these letters, i got mine yesterday, my 16 year old non credity worthy kid sister and three folks on my street alone. Investigations proves this MCO Limited are a telephone [problem] company, charge you £3 per minute to discuss a non-existence loans, which they never pick up anyway. We threw the letters straight in the bin. Not sure who gave Vodkat the £300 loan but all seems like an elablorate hoax of the century to me.

Hi,

I stupidly took out a loan with this company in desperation.

I thought i could get the money back to repay only i havent.

I recieved a letter today requesting the full amount, they have now added £212 charges on top of the £513 owed.

I cant contact them to offer a repayment plan.

I am worried this debt will be passed on to intrum justina (as stated in the letter), this company are known for being bullys.

WHAT do i do???? Please help

what a bunch of sharks. disgusting, wait for them to contact you then, email them telling me you've tried calling to make payment but there is no working phone number, invite them to call you on your mobile between certain hours for example and wait for them. if it goes to a DCA you'll be able to sort out an arrangement much easier because they buy the debt at a lower price then it is...
