Hi

Last year i sent a letter to bank of scotland claiming mis selling of ppi on a credit card

Today out of teh blue i received a letter back saying they have checked their records and they have no record of ppi being included on this card and unless i provide information to prove this then they will deem the matter closed

i have no statements etc to send as the account was open in 2005 and paid off last year

What can i do now , if anything ??

any help with a letter etc would be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi Steve,

You need to send Bank of Scotland a Subject Access Request (SAR)

This is a legal requirement on them to supply all the information they hold on you as a data subject. This means all your statements, loan details, credit agreements, loan statements etc...

You send them a postal order for £10 and they have 40 calendar days to supply all the data.

Go get em.

DJ
