Hi All

 

I am awaiting the outcome of a recent grievance meeting at work. If it does not go the way I would like and it becomes neccessary to appeal the decision am I entitled to the following.

 

Notes taken from first grievance meeting

 

an explanation of how they have investigated my grievance and what steps they have taken to arrive at there decision

 

Im not sure if my employer has to give me this or not and I feel I would need this information for any appeal process.

Hello there. While you're waiting for someone with experience of this to come along on the forum, you could have a read of the ACAS and directgov websites which have quite a bit on disputes and grievances. ACAS also have a confidential helpline that you can ring, number on the website. They're there quite late in the evening and Saturday mornings I think [from memory, don't quote me].
