His JSA amount may be reduced and likewise HB/LHA and CTB if you claim them too.

If your partner is still looking for work and able to work then he should still be able to claim JSA, but if your job is full time the chances are he'd have to claim on his National Insurance Contribution record between April 2007 and April 2009. This is known as Contribution based Jobseekers Allowance.
