Hi i'm new to this so apologies if this has already been asked?

I didnt pay my council tax and had a bill of £245, thats not the issue, it got passed onto Equita and now it going to cost me £454. Have tried calling but all i get is their bailiff, any ideas what this extra £209 is for... they have visited only once and seem to have slapped an un fair charge on me.. i am aware that they can only charge for visits?? is that right?... have called the bailiff today and they have given my till a week on friday.. still help needed tho.

has the bailiff left you a notice of seizure of goods and inventory

its not unusual for a bailiff to levy a car in the street and NOT leave this notice

its been happening a lot just lately

or perhaps I'm just noticing it more after this was posted
