    • Oh and before bed   Officially leaked statements about a PHE report claiming that a UK study will say there is little evidence of children transmitting Covid.   Leakers stats look impressive until you realise he's on Johnson's SAGE so makes you think - huh - hows that then when all the science I've seen says different, and there are a number of reports of spreads in schools across the world from schools that had opened.   Then, little as the information 'leaked' is, you see   "largest studies in the world on coronavirus in schools" and then "The study was carried out in 100 institutions in the UK and is expected to be published later this year. About 20,000 pupils and teachers in 100 schools across England were tested to monitor the spread of the disease up to the end of the summer term – which runs from April-July in Britain."   Then you click. That averages 200 pupils and staff per 'institution' checked We dont know what these institutions are, but I think over 200 is the average for infants schools. Other schools tend to be FAR larger. Did they test everyone at each institution, or just some ??? we don't know yet - they are choosing not to leak that - Wonder why?   We currently understand that younger children (pre teenage) seem to present few/less symptoms  (statistically) but large increases in teenager covid has been reported as lockdowns ease and they start to meet more.   I know my OH's grandson (mother a nurse) has remained at school in classes one third or less that normal, with the majority of kids having front line worker parents - so well aware of the discipline and hygiene necessary. We know the schools maintain distancing, monitoring and maintenance which would be IMPOSSIBLE in normal class sizes.   So in a lock down situation, with class sizes significantly lower than normal (highly aware front-line workers kids mainly), increased distancing and cleaning made possible by SIGNIFICANTLY smaller class sizes - Has maybe resulted in no great evidence of covid spread perhaps?   Well Whoopy do.     • i understand and agree you should write a formal letter of complaint about the email by royal mail.   i also think you should totally dispute the arrears balance, esp as it goes back so long   send them an sar and add to the text in it that you want statements/bills dating back to the gb energy a/c.

      I was in Sainsbury’s today and did scan and shop.
      I arrived in after a busy day at work and immediately got distracted by the clothes.
       
      I put a few things in my trolley and then did a shop.
      I paid and was about to get into my car when the security guard stopped me and asked me to come back in.
       
      I did and they took me upstairs.
      I was mortified and said I forgot to scan the clothes and a conditioner, 5 items.
      I know its unacceptable but I was distracted and Initially hadn’t really planned to use scan and shop.
       
      No excuse.
      I offered to pay for the goods but the manager said it was too late.
      He looked at the CCTV and because I didn’t try to scan the items he was phoning the police.
       
      The cost of the items was about £40.
      I was crying at this point and told them I was a nurse, just coming from work and I could get struck off.
       
      They rang the police anyway and they came and issued me with a community resolution notice, which goes off my record in a year.
      I feel terrible. I have to declare this to my employer and NMC.
       
      They kept me in a room on my own with 4 staff and have banned me from all stores.
      The police said if I didn’t do the community order I would go to court and they would refer me to the PPS.
       
      I’m so stressed,
      can u appeal this or should I just accept it?

If you receive a letter from phone company telling you that your account has been passed to different agencies and maybe you havnt received any communication from them, as if:rolleyes:, but that they are now taking alook at your account and if they dont here within certain time passing it over to lowells and the time frame is near a month, so gives you plenty of time to communicate, would you be suprised if the said dca answered the phone:-o

 

Letter headed with phone company nowt saying dca is dealing with it unless you ignore the letter.

 

Told the reason they are answering the phone and its not the phone company as I would have expected is that they are deciding wether to take a case on or not:rolleyes::rolleyes:

 

Now it would seem to me this is misrepresentation, as the phone company dont want to know me and of course dca does:) of course. I wanted to give the phone company one last chance to supply the promised service, nice of me me thinks.

 

I am not panicking over this and of course the other agencies contacted me but left rather sharply whenr realised the phone company were in the wrong and not communicating with me in anyform. So the shufty of account on hold while we wait to hear could only go on so long.

 

I have offered which considering the company were sharks in the way they manipulated me to whilst asking for help and wanting to return the phone to miss the time frame to do so, by the contact the store who said contact head office shuffle, sounds like a dance:D:D:D

 

Anyhow said I am willing for them to reschedule the original contract on the basis the phone works and I can make calls, which I couldnt due to problems with the Iphone originally and their lack of help, me thinks they didnt know what the problem was actually. I told them I only used it in total for 15 mins and they have a chance to reschedule the contract with me and give me a service. If they dont well get lost as Ive nowt to take anyhow.

 

All along offered them token payment whilst they look into to it and the dcas threatened me with all but the linch. So I think any court would be understanding after what they did to me for me to offer to pay the contract in full, if they provide me with the minutes they let me down with previously.

 

Am I asking too much, they get 18 months 30.00, my phone works or they get 1.00 and I stay payg, what do you think? They couldnt sort the problem within the first two weeks of ownership, lets hope they can see sence now, any bets?:)

Bearing in mind lowells wont get much commission on a rescheduled contract me thinks, hhuuummmm? But I offered it and can refer to it in court that I have been reasonable and if they dont want to help they should write the account off and I will sue for harassment and discrimination.

 

I offered the same thing after origianlly warning them I would need to cancel my dd if they did not help or at least give copy of original contract,they didnt want to know and I was in credit with them at the time.

 

It was a matter of the new iphone and so many on the network I now realise and the fact the calls kept dropping out and the bluetooth and internet never worked. They didnt even look at the phone as they knew it was a big problem with the network and not the actual phone now I realise, but they ignored me anyhow and wouldnt let me cancel within their two week frame they told me was available if not happy. I do wonder why they never gave me to this day an agreement and cynically wonder wether the original sales pitch was a lie, as in did I have two weeks to cancel, theyve never answered and if so, why didnt they take the phone back.

 

The store said they were in the busines of selling them and any problems go to head office, head office said rubbish its the original store who should sort it. What could I do other than cancel the dd. xxxxxx

Are lowells being naughty using phone companies letter head?

 

I even gave the phone to my son, more techy than me and said you get it to work, you can have it and I will get a payg for me, he said nope its duff. Funny enough some months later we got it working as payg by changing the simm, although the internet of it still doesnt work, but dont care now anyhow xx

Funny thhing is I never went in to buy an iphone anyhow, they were quiet an had a set of empty seets. I was having ap anic attack and needed tos it down and as been in their store before and its open and well aired decided to apologise that I just needed the seat.

 

Whilst there they were playing with the phones and handed me one as sat down to play with and I was amazed with it and well they got good value on that day for me hiring a seat for a while, I laugh now. I contacted them over the fact it didnt work and I had changed my mind, rash purchase not intended and was within cancellation time.

Maybe things would have been different it the darned thing had worked like it did in the store, but they dont give a sh**.

 

So on both issues of shouldnt have bought it and its not working they still refused to take it back in the store within the time frame. Said it might go missing and I would still have to pay when I tried to walk out and leave it with them.

 

Why did they do this to me, maybe I look stupid xx
