Hello everyone,

I am posting here to find out few things which I don't understand and want to sort it out quickly.

I have a personal loan with Loan protection with LLyods. I have to go back to my home country and want to repay the loan. The problem is I don't have the full amount in hand and would like to reach some kind of settlement with the bank. What is the best way forward?

Can they actually look in to my other Joint accounts with other banks or freeze them?

Can I be refused entry to UK in future on basis of the personal loan default?

I can give in some more details if required. But I went to the bank and the person there says I cannot do anything except paying the loan. I have got some cash arranged by taking help from my family and friends.

Thanks for your advice.

regards

Mibs

You can reclaim the PPI which will reduce the amount, in fact you may even get some cash back too, see; http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/payment-protection-insurance-ppi/61081-ppi-some-notes-claimants.html

Not unless the a/cs are with the same banking group.

No.
