I have an alledged debt for a Nationwide Credit Card

Originally Mr Carter tried to get some money. He took me to court and then withdrew. Received lots of help from the forum to achieve this.

Then Westcot had a go.

Now a company called CCS is trying.

Have received a threatogram giving me 7 days to pay or court action.

Any advice on ehat to do greatly appreciated.

TBH I wouldn't entertain CCS in a game of letter tennis.

If BC has already attempted legal action and failed miserably then how do these fools think they're going to be any different?

Is it these guys your on about?

ccscollect

Or if you fancy a laugh then you could send them the No Debt Acknowledged letter, but that would only encourage them..

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Believe me if BC and his dirty tricks didn't satisfy the court then these eejitts won't either!

  • 2 weeks later...

OK now had another letter from CCS

Notice of Intended Legal Action.

Documents are now being prepared for the final recovery of this debt.

Should I be worried?

Do they have to send a Letter Before Action or will this surfice?

Any ideas what to do next?

I had the 'THIS PROBLEM WILL NOT GO AWAY AND WE INTEND TO RECOVER THE FULL AMUNT YOU OWE WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY'

from ccscollect on a near SB debt in May, ignored nothing back and now SB.

Their 'client' was Cabot and prior their (ccss') involvement had been getting all sorts of 'deals' to settle. No CCA.

when you say that the original case was withdrawn.....had you filed a defence (even if only a holding or embarrassed defence)?

if so write back and acknowledge their letter and point out that they will require the permission of the court to commence new proceedings and you will be interested in the grounds for their application to the court to commence new proceedings in the matter and what issues will be different from the original proceedings

that should shut them up for a while
