SSP - help please

Hi, does anyone know if you are entitled to SSP whilst receiving Statutory Guarantee Pay or whilst on lay off?

Hi sar011297 and thank you for the link. I have to say I don't know, but I'm a bit confused about how you can be working and off sick at the same time, or is there some sort of time lag?

 

I hope one of our experts will be along later, this is beyond me sadly.

memo to self, don't use sar in its own, as it comes out as subject access request!

It's confussing isn't it! He's on SGP for a week but then on lay off for 12 weeks. The money on SGP is better than SSP so not handing sick note in at the moment but will next week as will get no money at all (he still has to be availble for work at short notice hense why we've needed a sick note).

I don't know the answer but have you tryed the Employee SSP helpline?
