I arranged for works to be carried out at my home, comprising of new PVC windows, I also asked the company to fit a door (which I'd bought previosuly) to my outbuilding. The rep had a look at the door and agreed to fit it free of charge if they had the job to do the windows.

But, when they came to fit everything he said the door was unsuitable for some reason and he couldn't fit it.

He then suggested fitting his own door for £500.00. I thought this was wrong but I wanted the job done so we verbally settled on a figure of £300.00. He later billed me for £500.00!

The more I think about it I don't think I should pay anything.

Any suggestions

this needs moving from the q&a for the website area

no good posting this here

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
