Just posted this (below) on Dillon 1's thread...

Hi Y'all.

I've been following this thread with interestlink3.gif as I'm in a similar (Parkforce ticket in Manchester, November 09) situation and have been following the same advice.

Well actually I wrote to the debt collectorslink3.gif stating I had sort advice and that any further contact from them would be deemed as harrasment.

Well this week I received a Southampton county court claimlink3.gif Form!!

£10 ticket is now a £230.00 claim!!

DO I STILL IGNORE???

Actually in 2006 Parkforce registered on CAG.

Unfortunately they only felt it warranted 2 posts.

That's strange. I imagine the hospital administration are making the claim. If so did they have the help of a PPC or solicitor to help them? This is a first.

its in the linked pdf its minimalist to say the least. no case stated, amount not justified or derived. it should be struck out just for that I reckon.

Maybe an attempt to get around the landowner/PPC issue. Fairly deplorable claim but need to see if there is anything else on the following page. Also they are using solicitors apparently as they are looking for £50 solicitors costs.

The solicitor's name and address who has issued the claim on the claimants behalf should be on the reverse of the N1, although, of course, it could be from the legal dept of the hospital trust.
