Good. A lot of people don't take the issue of privacy and security issues seriously enough. One example is this. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/260745-facebook-dcas.html

What's Best for You?

I hate Facebook.

My sister has put pictures of me on her Facebook page, but I don't want pictures of me on there (I have my reasons). She won't remove them, so we don't talk anymore.

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

Can you not ask Facebook that they be removed and report the content?

I think it's quite childish for her not to respect your wishes, and bloody rude! It's a conversation i've had with some friends, who have removed pics, but some still don't understand my point. My argument is, if I want pictures of me on the internet, i'll be the one to put them on and decide where and who can see them!! As it's my image it's my decision. And if there are pics that just so happen to have people on say in the background who wish to be unidentifiable, there are plenty of free safe photo software that you can download so you can blur people's faces or cut them out of the picture completely so that everyone is happy.

I once was affraid, very affraid, especially after a certain incident with a DCA employee who shall remain nameless. Now I don't give a hoot. I've been easily traceable in the public domain since shortly after becoming a cyber junkie :D It has it's uses ;)

"To love unconditionally is the greatest gift, laughter is a close second" .To give your time to help others after being helped here is the best way to show your appreciation to your fellow CAG members.

Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice. Seek the advice of an insured qualified professional if you have any doubts. All my knowledge has been gained here, for which I'm very grateful. I'm a Journalist, not a law professional.

If you do PM, make sure to include a link to your thread as I don't give out advice in private ;)
