A lot of people are understandably concerned about this process as it is going to affect a lot of people over the coming months and years. I expect a lot of people have probably got a lot of unanswered questions as I have myself, despite reading a lot of information on here and other sites.

So I thought a thread for people who have these questions might be a good idea and somewhere they can all be kept together for easy reference. So if you have a question and don't have your own thread feel free to use this one.

To get the ball rolling;

I get IS on the grounds of Incapacity, I also get the disability premium of £39.85 a week. I have scoured the ESA rates and can't see anywhere where this premium is covered. So does that mean on being migrated, I can expect to be almost £40 a week worse off before I start?

Why don't they call it ATP benefit. Assume The Position benefit.

And the word, "benefit" replaced by "hindrance".

"ATP hindrance". Come on government, let's be clearer with our words. :D

Benefits rules are complex, and although I do try to inform and support people, I may get it wrong because the rules apply to individual claimants and their particular circumstances.

My disability premium was about £24 per week and it made all the difference.

That's £67 IS plus the 24 is £91 per week.

Now I get 54.:eek:
