Hi,

Was hoping someone might be able to offer some words of wisdom. Today I discovered that my elderly father had a caller who convinced him to part with nearly £1500 for a bath lift. I had a very quick google and found what was definitely the same make/model for a third of that price.

So I've no idea if this is just morally bankrupt or actually illegal. I have the company invoice and I'm obviously going to cancel the order first thing tomorrow but was wondering if there was anything else I can do? Any advice would be appreciated?

Thanks

There has been a lot of interest from trading standards and the like into cold callers and home callers who target vulnerable people. Try them and consumer direct, I am sure others will be along before long to help.
