Atos Medical Report.... what the hell!!

hi cumbrian, i think you do need to start a new thread with what you have pm'd me with it is worth putting on the forum,dont worry your ID would nt be compromised and your is an intresting story but Paul and rae and others can certainly help you ,as you have said being forewarned and armed to the teeth with info can only help with your case, so please start a new thread, their is one part of all these ATOS cases ive not yet seen which is a good idea actually and that is to get all your medical evidence all doctors and medical statements and send these copies to ATOS before you go to any medical ,Atos could not on the face of MEDICAL EVIDENCE refuse to accept this and would have to take it into serious consideration,this would also leave ATOS open to a possible prosecution which as much as 90% of the people who come on here are elligble for legal aid and their is specialist legal aid practicioners out their who would rellish these sort of cases..i for one have used a solicitor and had the DWP AND ATOS reconsider before i even had chance to apply for a tribunial,

perhaps i was lucky considering my circumstances and my evidence it flew in the face of ATOS being a credible company ..

A young woman went through Meridian news after she went through exactly the same scenario. Do a search on google 'nicola hobbs anorexia atos meridian' and you'll find plenty of info in relation to that.

 

Telling the same story again to the same sources will at least make it known that Hobbs' story is hardly an isolated one. That may be something to consider, especially if you want to kick Atos in the teeth (and we do!).

So glad I found this forum as I to have had a ATOS medical that robbed me of points by blatant lying. I am going to read through the posts properly later and then recount my own story but even by just glancing at it I can see some accounts that are the same as mine. I also agree that someone should be keeping a suicide count. If it had not been for family and friends I would of killed myself the weekend the report giving me just 3 points and cutting off all my benefits and payments in one fell swoop came through. The thoughts are still their but so far under control.

Hi I have just joined,

I had a tribunal for DLA in Feb this year and then was put back for a home medical little did I know what I was letting my self in for,

I just thank God my sis was there to take notes.After a long wait we got the report and OMG not her ( Dr Vistor ) thoughts but lies and this is all I can say also a tick box which I was not asked 1 question on she just ticked.I won't go on but you have the idea I'm sure.

My whole family have been so disgusted that my local MLA was contacted and he now has taken a great interest in my case also she has been reported to the GMC,we were told to wait and report her to DWP and ATOS later.
