Please bear with me as I am new to this kind of thing signed up yesterday :p

I live in Sefton (just north of Liverpool) my local council is using different parts of DLA components to try and claw back budget overspend. Point of posting, is it legal for the council to take into consideration DLA as disposable income.:!:

Afraid not. They trying to recoup 2009-10 money wasted elsewhere. They have only just introduced transport costs.

The most laughable :D part is if ILF hours where in place (which costs more money) then there would not not be a charge.
