hello all,

 

i have just been looking at my unbilled calls and texts for this month and i have seen the below,

 

all are calls tos 0845/0870/0844 numbers

as you can see i have been billed twice fo my calls and its like that so far this billing time.

 

also other vodafone users, look at your bills. is the same happing to you?

yes of course.

 

Do you have an online account ?

I mean not a financial one but one where you can manage your VF stuff ?

I have 2 one is for my mobile and one for internet -they have live operators.

 

prob a good idea to use the link in the stickies and send to the Web team.

I know Lee was here over the holiday but not sure when he will be here next.

Rest assured that we wouldn't intentionally bill a customer twice for the same call but at the same time I'd certainly like to take a closer look at this to see whether the billing information you've provided here corresponds with the information on your actual airtime account.

 

As Martin says the best way to get in touch with me and the Web Relations Team is to follow the instructions in our pinned thread Vodafone Webteam-for Customers With Problems.

 

In the event you've already done this just let me know the email reference number which you will have received in our automated reply and I'll make sure we've got it.

Ha Ha-wonder why ?

 

Well I got my talk talk installed now.

Broadband only comes after 2 weeks.

Just had to put another 15 quid on my VF dongle...I wont be sorry to see the back of that-£30 quid a month is a bit steep.

 

But from what I have read and heard-its still the best dongle of the bunch.Iwill keep it for emergencies.;)

Try to download as little as possible. A friend of mine, £15 lasts 3 months.

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

I dont really do much downloading.I think its just activity.I already have much of what I need.

Just now and again have to do some -like the Financial Services and Market Act-I went to library to do that one and saved it as a file in Yahoo.

I feel this is one for Lee maybe. I'm pretty sure Voda you pay for an amount of data, and have as long as you like to use it. £15 should last you a long long time unless you dowload things bigger than the odd 1 meg PDF.

 

Maybe you have automatic updates and an anti-virus that updates a lot?

 

Do you use any of your messengers for video calls or skype for a lot of calls? These can add up on your usage aswell.

 

Text uses a small amount of data. I believe the complete works of shakespeare can be zipped down to 2 meg, pictures video and audio use more.

Thats thought-yes I do use skype quite a bit-maybe thats it then.

I was told also to move stuff from desktop and dont do disc clean ups to often as this also contributes.

I was also wondering if its better to close (sign off imbetween using) or whether it can just be left on.

I disabled my auto updates as I know this can add to useage.
