Yes. Well, conditionally, anyhow. You should speak to your personal adviser at the Jobcentre and ask for your jobseeker's agreement to be reviewed and amended to reflect your new circumstances - these being that you will only be looking for temporary work until your "real" job starts.

 

Of course, you'll need to remain fit for, available for, and actively seeking work, continue to sign on as normal and to attend any other interviews as required.

thanks for your reply. I will do this tomorrow when i sign on again. Was half thinking not to let them know until nearer the time so i dont get left with no money for a month, was just a bit unsure what to do
