When first got into difficulty, we notified them straight away. And all payments upto then, was on time and in full.

To start they said they would be helpful and understanding, but since we have had nemerous phone calls, and although we were with the CCCS, whom advised us to offer a payment, they declined it, and kept adding interest, and putting the original offer up.

Lloyds said they would freeze the interest and on the last statment the interest seems to be almost as much as the original loan.

They say they dont take notice of CCCS, unless CCCS contact direct, they say they wont contact the 3rd party, only myself.

Neither will contact each other it has to be thru me!

I have contacted lloyds on loads of occassions and they seem to think its only been a couple of times. Although I have names of who ive spoken too, they still deny it.

^where is the template to stop phone harrassment^

I have an agreement at £40 a month now, for 6 months - am worried about the interest building, and their attitude stinks!

Is the first step to CCA, unsure if PPI is on as ive never heard of this prior to seeing it on TV and in papers?

*This is for my mum not me! I already know about CCA, and telephone contact!*

Thanks

Lloyds are not helpful and neither is the CCCS when things go pear shaped. They are funded by the banks and are there only to collect payment for them not to help you, no matter what they say. I left CCCS and CCAd all the banks/DCAs and 2 years later I haven't a debt in the world - I would have been paying forever with CCCS. Send that CCA today.

Thankyou Pinky, my mum is unsure of when the debt actually started, before or after April 07, but the CCA will show if PPI is on there wont it?

Thanks for the link to the harrassment letter too.

Funnily enough it was Lloyds TSB who told my mum to use CCCS!
