Disabled Tax Disc Form Full.

I am buying a new car later this month, and have just realised that my Disabled Tax Disc Application Form (WPA442) is full.

 

Do I have to send the old one back or can I just apply for a new one online or over the phone?.

 

Also how long do they take to renew?

hi, it says on the form,this certificate must be sent back to us, when it gets full and a new one is needed,or when it expires and a new one is needed or if it is cancelled.therefore i usualy send mine back when it is full it usually back within 2 weeks tops, tick the box 2nd from the bottom on the back or they will return it to you, lol i have made that mistake too lol

I agree. You must send the old one back to Blackpool and they will send you a new one. When you use the last box up, send it off straight away next time. Also watch out for the expiry date. I got caught out with that one year.

Thanks but there is no box second from bottom to tick - it is rather an old form but valid for 10 years until next year but full. Also no return address on it.

 

I will ring the Veterans Peope tomorrow and see what is what.

As I explained in my initial posting, I am after a new WPA442 form to tax my car as disabled (not a DLA 404 form)

 

After waiting 20 minutes then trying to explain to the chap on the phone numbers you supplied I am told it is nothing to do with them!

 

I'll go back to my original plan to speak with the veterans people!

the same here the WPA section was @ blackpool as far as I knew, just a pity the call centre did not give the OP the correct telephone number to contact them
