hi all, i'm sure most of you will already know this, but today i have had 2 instances when i was fobbed off on the phone by both the DLA help line and the community care help line. the DLA was the biggy as the first operative advised me that a decision on our claim had been made, but he was not at liberty to dicuss it (torture or what!! lol) unable to sit and wait for the letter to arrive, we gave it 10 minutes and rang back. low and behold a different operative gave us the good news over the phone!!


it really does seem to be a case of pot luck as to who you get on the other end of the line determining whether you get answers or get turned into a gibbering wreck further into the dark than you were before!


the community care line no.1 said we would have to wait about 3 weeks for an answer, no.2 gave it us within 3 minutes!


all i can say is, keep on at them until you get a good 'un! :confused:
