Has anyone heard of or had dealings with them? Are they a legit company ie appointed by a utility company?

 

I couldn't find any info about them on the web except their registered office address: Company number: 06639641

Millstream, Maidenhead Road, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 5GD.

 

They claim British Gas Business is a client.

They sent a final reminder to pay letter to the wrong people, who do not owe the money.

 

It just seems odd that they have a PO box number instead of a proper address.

So maybe they're British Gas Business's in-house DCA?

quite possibly, there's a sticky aboce about in-house DCA, just have alook if they're on the list

I've just got a letter from them today about an outstanding bill with British Gas Business (which I am in dispute with). I spoke to them and they are not a nice bunch and just want you to pay even if the account is in dispute!

If ther are inhouse report them to the CEO of British Gas and OFT because they are pretending to be a DCA and they are not licenced.

 

If they are an outside DCA report them to OFT. They have no business to be chasing an account in dispute which is against the OFT rules.

 

If you do not wish to be nasty (I wou;d!!) just write to them telling them that the acount is in dispute with BG and that you will report them to OFT if you hear anything further from them.

 

The utilities do not seem to understand the niceties of debt collecting. It is clearly unfair to pressurise a customer in dispute by threats from a DCA. These guys have no more power to extact money than British Gas.

I'm having the same problem with these guy's and will be looking into reporting them. I'm fairly sure they are an In=House company though.

I am a case manager for a solicitor, I had to deal with the guys at EAGR, they could not tell me who the bill was for, the period the bill file, what year, who was the owner, only the address, which as we all know anyone could of been in that property (in my case it was a bar), so do not think they are in house or they would have all the information at hand
