Has anyone experienced these people?

I had a credit agreement audited by Emmets who were/are connected to `Ratio` it came back as compliant and I was advised to chase the original introducer `UK Logical` for a refund of my £95. I did this but was promised by the `smooth talking` Portugese bloke to try an alternative CMC that they were now dealing with called `Guardian GB` this I did and initially all looked ok lots of the usual promises "were better cos we deal direct with barristers we have our own employed barristers, process is a lot quicker with us blah, blah". As usual when I made a few direct calls to them lots of well articulated comments and assurances however now I have been told its a minimum 10 months - this entire thing is a load of baloney. I would advise anyone to be highly sceptical the only good thing is I am not further out of pocket as after a few arguments they decided as a goodwill gesture not to charge me extra.

Not sure what you mean by "its a minimum 10 months" If your referring to it'll be 10 months until final settlement overall that would be very good but then again I would still have my doubts about promises simply because no one can predict with any certainty how long a claim will take to settle, that is unless they're referring to their average period for settlement but again for them to be able to give an accurate 'average' they would have to have had a lot of cases to handle

Also don't like the upfront fee much even-though it isn't much in the scheme of things What do they claim you get for your £75?

The post was made in January.

The MOJ and FSA have introduced firmer guidelines and rules.

My understanding is that there now can be no upfront fees requested.

Additionally claimants/clients have to be informed of all options and given comprehensive info to help them evaluate any benefits in choosing.
