Hi All

 

I have an account in dispute and the lender has issued me with a default notice/letter stating the account to be upto date by 8th Feb.

 

Now I have a few questions that I would like a little bit of advise on.

 

1. It is a secured loan and the default notice was sent to the property address (partly wrong, as with all the original paperwork!) and not my correspondance address, it has however found it's way to me.

 

2. What is the lenders correct procedure for issuing a default notice, bearing in mind I have put this account into dispute.

 

3. The amount that they say is in arrears is part of my dispute.

 

4. What would be my next course of action?

 

All advice as always is very much appreciated.
