Hi,

 

We purchased a laptop from Dell during the Middle of December and received it around the 21st December.

 

The laptop has gone faulty and will not even power up now after a recent spell of making some funny grinding noices.

 

Contacted dell and been offered a repair, asked about a replacement and was told that its not their policy unless it goes wrong within 14 days.

 

How true is this or am I being fobbed off? what the law say on something like this?
