I left my car at the station car park and bought my car park ticket at the ticket booth before bording the train .

I arrived back to find a Parking Contravention Charge Notice on my window and on the back they were stating the railway byelaws .

Any help please.

99% of tickets issued in railway car parks claiming to be under "railways byelaw 14" are nothing of the sort. Clue will be does the ticket state they will take it to magistrates court (genuine byelaws PCN) or county court (PPC invoice) if you don't pay, and does it state their VAT number on the ticket (need a VAT number for invoice, no VAT number for legal PCN fine)
