Hope I have posted in right section here!

I'm about to get an enhanced disclosure carried out for a teaching post in Glasgow - I have no criminal convictions but have the following;

a] 3 points on my license for a speeding offence 2 years back and

b] A county court judgement in relation to a student loan which I am paying back.

Is [a] a criminal conviction and would this show on my disclosure?

Is likely to be shown on the form also? I'm a bit shy about this one and don't really want prospective employers to know of this!

Any help would be appreicated.

A: a driving conviction is EXACTLY that. Its not a criminal conviction - you did not go to court, and im guessing it was delt with my means of a NIP ( notice of intended prosicution) and a FP - Fixed Penalty.

This will have no bearing on your disclosure.

A county court judgement is not releveant, its a financial issue, which is not related to the disclosure.

Hope that helps - I am subject to continual security/disclosure checks in my job.

Hi. I agree with k13. A speeding fine is never taken into account, or a lot of us wouldn't have jobs!
