Not talking about a default fee. Was talking about late payment fee's, charges about passing it on to a DCA, accrued interest OUTSIDE the contractual period. Things like that.

Also, and i know you realise this now, NEVER roll over a loan. It is wasted money and is pretty much a sc@m used by the PDL's to get easy money for no effort at all. It amounts to them saying "pay us £xx this month and we wont bother you".

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

The only late payment fee I had was with SS. I contacted the companies by email the day my payments were due to tell them what I was doing and PDuk and Wonga froze my accounts whilst awaiting ref no from STC. They gave me 14 days. SS added their fee straight away and then rang me but they were ok on the phone and froze the account then. All my statements show no other late fees on them.

You know that fee is unenforceable right? But if it was just that fee that was added on, and all your debts are now sorted, then thats very good news.

In response to the comment from a poster further up, I tried to negotiate with Quickquid direct, but they wouldn't accept anything but full payment.

Can anyone help me with next steps?

Quick quid are, like most other payday lenders' nothing more than a bunch of parasites, who prey on people with poor credit ratings, my advice to you would be this, You have tried to negotiate with them and they are not interested, therefore, stuff THEM. Give them nothing, ignore all letters and phone calls, they can't touch you. It would cost them too much to take you to court. The way I see it, if a lender wants to give cash to high risk people with bad credit, then they get what they deserve when the cash is not paid back to them.
