I have been on the Payday Loan roundabout for some time and have no intention of continuing this in 2010.

Therefore, today I have sent offer of repayment to Wonga of 150 upfront and then 50 per week until the debt is settled providing interest is frozen after the first payment is made.

If they dont like it then I intend to setup a DMP with the CCCS and they can get paid with the rest of my creditors -- which will be there loss as they will probably only receive 50 per month.

Waiting for the email to come back - "Please contact us immediately!!"

Only PTP to deal with now, will deal with this once it arises at the end of January ! Will offer payments over 2 months to settle the account - dont think there will be much problem here - dont care really as they dont have uptodate contact telno's for me !! lol

Will keep you informed how it goes and any advice would be appreciated.

Happy New Year ALL ! :)

why pay ptp in two months???.. they are by far the worst of the bunch calling peoples employers, emabarrising them, refusing to communicate via email, when its there terms that say all communication to be done via email!, stuff them, drag it out, these people are parasites, agressive, threatening and rude.

dragging it out is simply hiding from a problem which, if sorted sooner, wont be as bad.

i dragged it our for quite a while and had two court letter through within days of each other.

Granted it did take 3 montha and all i did was change my mob number and cancel my home line but when i rang them they said they had confirmation of where i work which wouldnt have been hard as i work in a small office and with confirmation of work they were able to apply for AOE.

i did, in the end pay £100 to each company (£bank transfer, never will i give my card details out again!!) and then £50 per month onwards.
