I have 3 numbers with Vodafone, one personal, one for business and one mobile broadband.

I pay or was paying £50 a month for unlimited calls and texts on my two phones.

I called them up to discuss the options of transferring my broadband to a business one, which wasnt metered and was unlimited.

Was told they coulnt do this but while on the phone one of the staff suggested I drop down my tarrif on the business phone. As I didnt use much calls and texts.

I said ok, and was lowered to the £35 a month tarriff. As they said this would save me some money each month.

My usage did not change much and I was a little shocked to say the least when a bill for £600 landed on my doorstep.

I contacted them and requested an itemised bill. They sent this out for my contracts but not the phone which was the problem, so I again requested it and in the mean time another bill this time for 700 landed on my mat.

After finally getting my itemised bill and checking through it. It seemed to be that my new tarrif had signnificantly lower minutes than my previous one. And I was exceeding those minutes.

I tried to contact customer services again but my phone was cut off. I then got another bill for 400!!!

I am now receiving debt collection letters.

I feel this is unfair. I never went over on my old tarrif, I blame THEIR employee for putting me on the new one. If they had called me and said I was exceeding my usual bill I would have sorted it out.

One call to my dad had cost me £60 for gods sake!

Anything I can do?
