Hi

Thank-you The Mould and MandM for your advice,

I am sitting here just about to give in to it all and offer a token payment to Moorcroft and Apex of a minimal amount per month as i am really going to give up the fight now...can't take much more and hopefully i will be in a better position to offer a better F&F later on down the line...

All i need to know is the best way to word a letter to offer a token monthly payment but more importantly not to 'incriminate' myself (for want of a better word) and to basically say: 'there you go have that and now leave me alone'!

Any ideas

Many Thanks

and kind regards

Littleme

It's not giving up Littleme. I have many fish to fry and in a considerable number of them I am paying token amounts. Sometimes the status quo is as good as you'll get - it's a stand off but you've still won in effect.

If your credit card bill was hitting you for £100 a month, and you can get them to accept a token payment of £1, £2, £5 a month then you're ninety something pounds a month better off :).

As i've dug deeper and found issues with agreements/DNs/S77 & S78 non compliance etc I've then said "well I don't owe you now so i'll stop paying. Now take me to court if you dare". Only one has tried (and failed).

So don't lose sight of what a win is ;).

I've done this myself without cccs or payplan etc and so can you!

Have a read of these threads and see what you come up with.
