Is that a Credit Card debt then? Tesco Finance?

Triton is their in-house collection agency, so they haven't sold it.

How much, when was it taken out, has the account been terminated?

Have you received a default notice?

Gotta pop out but should be back on later, plenty of others to help you out.

Boo;)

Doorstep collection letter. send them that recorded delivery, PRINT don't sign your name.

Give them the template letter linked below through the letterbox or chained door.

http://www.consumerforums.com/resour...ep-visit-.html

Tell them to leave as you have nothing to discuss and all communication must be in writing.

Tell them you will call the police if they don't leave immediately.

Remain calm and polite at all times.

Walk away from the door so the visitor cannot try and talk to you.

If they don't leave, call the police to report that you are being harassed and the visitor refuses to leave.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

std threat-o-gram letter from them

ignore it,its designed to make you contact them

have you a thread running on this debt already or give us some background.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

then i would be inclined to post on your old thread then

keeps things in one place

i've just read through it and well what do you expect?

they can do very little to you.

now, although the CCA is unen. it does not make the debt go away. it's not some magic bullet that wipes debt out.

[see my sig below for some interesting reading]

it just means they cannot forcr you to pay through the legal system.

but they can still try every other mentod to recoupe their money.

you have 3 options

make a very low F&F to close the matter

or keep riding the threat-o-grams

or

pay a reduced amount PCM even £1.

your call

nothing more we can do really.

just remember that a DCA has

NO LEGAL POWERS

whatever they write

they are NOT bailiffs and can demand NOTHING from you.

hence the ignore card you hold!

Hi, I need some advice and hoping someone on this thread will be able to help. If you want to hear recorded phone calls where you were the other party, are the debt comanies allowed to charge. CCS are wanting to charge me £10 per phone call. As there are 2 phone calls I am disputing, this is £20. They will not email me a copy as I have had done before.

Thanks

Helen

SAR them specifically mentioning such

then they legally cannot refuse you and it will be £10 for EVERYTHING they hold on you.

might be an idea to start your own thread in the named forum of whom you are tallking about too.

that way we can help you better.
