I am in court next week suing someone over a promissory note that is dated 2002. Originally I was told that the statute of limitation did not apply to a Promissory note and that I would win hands down. However apparently there is now a case in the Appeals Court that overturned this ruling and apparently the 6 year limitation does apply. Does anyone have any information regarding this and can they help as I am now considering withdrawing from the proceedings to avoid further costs. :|
