I was diagnosed with HIV, and i told my manager at the time, as I had a good rapport with her and felt comfortable telling her.


During a re-shuffle I changed team and my manager asked me whether i wanted my new manager to know, and I said it was ok.


There's since going to be another shift around and a differnt senior manager. I've asked my new manager that any details about my condition are not passed on and she's basically saying as they know already it's probably wise for references to HIV to stay on my records.


Occupational Health have advised that all that needs to be on my records is that they have confirmed I have an underlying condition that will affect my attendance at work and time off for hospital appointments will be required, which is correct.


My problem is can my current manager pass on the details to her new manager without my consent?
