Hi

I had an accident at work 2 weeks ago. the next day my company vehicle was taken and i was told this was because the company needed a letter from a doctor before i would be allowed to drive this seemed reasonable to me but now 2 weeks later i am into my anual leave i have given them a letter from my doctor saying i can drive but the company are saying they are using my vehicle im upset as this is the only transport i have and i pay tax for it is this allowed?

Hello paul321. I'm not an expert on this, but I'm sure one will turn up to help you.

This doesn't sound right to me if you're being taxed on the car. What does your contract say about your car entitlement? I hope you get this sorted.

sounds like a load of bull to me, if you are liable for the tax then the car is effectivley yours until such time as the lease expires
